Flute Teacher Coral Springs and surrounding areas
I was lucky to find Vivien Li for my son David Wu. I read Vivien’s introduction from another website and I totally loved her after reading that. Her best quality is her professional attitude. She is strict on basics, she never take any rest on any class, she encourage her students, and she is flexible on class time. She comes to our home to teach, which is very convenient. We pay after each lesson, so you don’t need to worry about missing a class, and we always like more lessons.

Coral Springs Music Lessons Fall Recital - November 6, 2016

My daughter always had fears when she started music for the first time. Her fears were gone once she met you. You were always very friendly and complementary. You were an excellent music teacher. Thanks again for giving my daughter a start with the flute.
— Maria
Thank you Ms. Li, I had so much fun!

Throughout my two years with Vivien, I have learned a lot about the flute. I have been able to accomplish things that I never could have before. All of the techniques that I learned to all of the new songs that I was able to play, Vivien helped me with it. I am grateful to have had her teach me.

Hi!  My name is Vivien.

I know how frustrating it can be to find a dependable music teacher in Coral Springs and surrounding areas.

If you’re like most busy parents, the thought of going to a music studio for lessons can be stressful.  You have to carve out one or two hours each week to take your child to the studio, then sit and wait until class ends.  Sure, you can run errands nearby, but your time isn’t that flexible.  The environment will be the same for all the students, so you won't get instruction that’s on your child’s level.  The music teacher may not have a matching personality for your child and the service isn’t that personalized, but you feel frustrated because you don’t know where else to go.

What you really need is a dependable, friendly music teacher who will come to your home and create a customized learning environment for your child.  You need a teacher who will not only make recommendations for music books but also pick them up for you at All-County Music, so that you won’t have to make the trip.  You'll have more flexibility with your schedule and be able to invest time in your child’s growth and ensure they’re reaching their personal goals.

Schedule your FREE Custom Private Music Lessons Consultation with me and create a caring, encouraging learning environment that’s customized to meet your child’s individual needs.  Then, you can play an active role in their education and inspire them to love music.  After a quick consultation, you’ll be able to determine if we share the same values and are a good match.

I will help you create a learning environment that’s student-centered, interactive, and fun, so that your child will be excited about music class each week.

Call or text me at (305) 397-4728, or e-mail me here:  Vivien@CoralSpringsMusicLessons.com to learn more.  (I have a 305 area code, but I’m located in northwest Broward County.)

Thanks, and I look forward to meeting you!

Vivien displays great patience with children and has a relaxed and comfortable rapport with them. They trust her. She makes the music classroom a happy place to be.

With teachers' guidance, our students select their own repertoire for recitals and other performances. Our students participate in two recitals a year, which are excellent opportunities to showcase their best pieces for family and friends.

1.  We believe in facilitating the development of critical thinking skills in students.
During lessons, we challenge students to identify their mistakes and correct them on their own.  Before giving feedback, we ask students what they liked most about what they just played, and which areas they feel they could improve.

2. Our students set their own goals for musical study; as a result, they usually achieve them.
Several students have gained admission to Bak Middle School of the Arts (in Palm Beach County).  Our students have earned first chair placement in their school bands.  All of our students who participated in the Palm Beach and Broward County Solo and Ensemble Festivals received ratings of excellent or superior.  We've found that when students enjoy what they do, they make noticeable progress.

3. We believe in the importance of participation in chamber ensembles.
While most students are in band at school, there are certain skills that are best enhanced through chamber ensemble playing (trios and quartets).  Therefore, we've incorporated ensemble performance into our curriculum and offer this as an option for all our students.  During our last recital, students performed duets with their teacher and sightread two pieces for flute trio.

4. With teachers' guidance, our students select their own repertoire for recitals and other performances.
Our teachers introduce students to several pieces that are appropriate for their current level and demonstrate what the pieces sound like.  However, the final decision always rests with the students, because we believe that a student will be more motivated to learn a piece that he or she has chosen.

5. Our students participate in two recitals a year, which are excellent opportunities to showcase their best pieces for family and friends.
One recital takes place in December, and the second takes place in June.  Our recitals are informal and fun, and serve as a reward for several months of dedication and study!
